Simon is an extremely talented and experienced drummer, who has toured live and recorded sessions with a number of established artists including Jocelyn Brown, Shaznay Lewis and most notably, former Stone Roses front man Ian Brown. Simon began by playing drums at church and accompanying gospel choirs and RnB groups. AL!VE manager Peter Ross spotted Simon practising at a top recording studio back in 1997 and was impressed by his outstanding playing. Five years later Peter and AL!VE met Simon while appearing on BBC 2 TV show 'Running Late' during Manchester's Commonwealth Games and exchanged numbers. Following the departure of drummer James Wilson a year later, Simon was invited to join the band and plays on all tracks on the band's second album being recorded later this year and debut single 'Heaven City' out end July. Simon has also co-written a new track with Andy that may well feature on the album - watch this space!
