Andy achieved full grading honours in electric guitar playing from the London College of Music and a distinction in Popular Music studies with Access to Music College in Manchester . He recently graduated with a 2.1 degree BA (Hons) in Management and Leisure at Manchester University . Admitted as a member of the Performing Rights Society at the age of 14, Andy's songs have enjoyed extensive airplay and been featured in two Xmas editions of PRS Mag -The Statement. Producer Rafe McKenna (Ash) once described Andy's songwriting ability as scary and his guitar playing draws many admirers. Andy cites The Beatles, Oasis and Jimi Hendrix as his main influences. Andy plays a Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop, US Fender 1957 Strat, Yamaha SG2000, US Fender Deluxe Strat Plus, Yamaha APX 10D, Guild Dreadnought, Takemine 12 string and Ramirez II classical guitar.
